About Me

My name is Radmilla,

I am a dedicated Wellbeing Practitioner with a genuine passion for mental health, personal growth, and holistic wellbeing. I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of the Person-Centred Association. I work with adults aged 18 and over, providing wellbeing support online to individuals from diverse backgrounds and across the world, while also working closely within my local community in Manchester.

My background in psychology, counselling, and wellbeing practice has given me a deeper understanding of the emotional, psychological, social, and practical challenges people may face at different stages of life. I recognise that each person is unique, with their own experiences, values, beliefs, strengths, and circumstances.

For this reason, I believe wellbeing support should be individualised, respectful, and centred on the person rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

My philosophy is grounded in a holistic, person-centred approach. I believe that emotional and mental wellbeing are closely connected to other areas of our lives, including relationships, physical health, lifestyle, work, family, social connections, sense of purpose, and personal values. By considering the whole person, we can develop a deeper understanding of the challenges they face and explore meaningful ways to support positive change.

I believe that every individual has the potential for growth, resilience, self-awareness, and positive change. Sometimes, however, people can feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves and may need a safe, supportive environment to pause, reflect, and explore what they are going through.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, authenticity, and active listening. Through a holistic, person-centred approach, I recognise that our emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing are closely interconnected.

My role is to provide a warm, compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I work alongside you rather than telling you what to do. I will not judge your experiences or impose my own values or solutions. Instead, I offer time, empathy, active listening, and supportive guidance to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, needs, and what matters most to you.

My aim is to help you feel more empowered to understand yourself, make choices, manage life's challenges, and move towards a greater sense of balance and fulfilment.

Whether you are experiencing stress, emotional difficulties, low confidence or self-esteem, life changes, relationship challenges, uncertainty about the future, or simply feel that you would benefit from having someone to talk to, I offer a supportive space where you can take time for yourself and explore your experiences at your own pace.

Together, we can explore your strengths and resources, develop greater self-awareness, and consider practical ways to support your wellbeing and personal growth.

My Services

I offer holistic wellbeing support and person-centred counselling, mindfulness practice and workshop in a safe, welcoming, respectful, and confidential environment where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.

I recognise that life can feel overwhelming at times. We may experience stress, uncertainty, emotional difficulty, relationship challenges, loss, change, low confidence, or simply feel that something in our lives is no longer working for us. At other times, we may not be facing a specific difficulty but may want to understand ourselves better, develop greater self-awareness, or create a more balanced and meaningful life.

My role is to provide you with the time and space to pause, reflect, and explore what is happening in your life at your own pace.

My approach is person-centred, holistic, compassionate, and collaborative. Rather than focusing solely on a particular problem or symptom, I consider you as a whole person. Your emotional and mental wellbeing can be influenced by your physical health, relationships, family circumstances, work, social connections, lifestyle, values, beliefs, sense of purpose, and wider life experiences.

Wellbeing Support

Individual wellbeing sessions provide a dedicated and supportive space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing.

You may be going through a difficult period, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, facing an important life transition, or simply wanting some time to focus on yourself.

Sessions are tailored to your individual circumstances, needs, goals, and preferences. I work alongside you, offering empathy, active listening, reflection, and supportive guidance rather than telling you what you should do.

Wellbeing support may be helpful when you are experiencing:

  • Stress and feelings of being overwhelmed

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Low mood and emotional difficulties

  • Low self-esteem or lack of confidence

  • Difficulties with motivation

  • Relationship and interpersonal challenges

  • Life transitions and significant changes

  • Feelings of uncertainty or being stuck

  • Difficulties finding balance in everyday life

  • Emotional exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities

  • Personal development and self-discovery

  • Questions around identity, values, purpose, and meaning

  • A desire to develop greater self-awareness and resilience

The purpose of wellbeing support is not simply to focus on difficulties, but also to recognise your strengths, resources, values, and capacity for positive change.

Counselling Sessions

Counselling offers a confidential, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore what is happening in your life. Sometimes it can be difficult to talk openly about our thoughts and feelings with family, friends, or others. Counselling provides an opportunity to speak freely in an environment where you can feel listened to, respected, and accepted. People come to counselling for many reasons. You do not necessarily need to be experiencing a specific mental health condition to benefit from counselling. Sometimes people seek support because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, or simply want a safe place to make sense of what they are going through.

Counselling may provide support around:

• Stress and emotional overwhelm

• Anxiety and persistent worry

• Low mood and emotional difficulties

• Low self-esteem and confidence

• Self-criticism and negative thinking patterns

• Relationship difficulties

• Boundary difficulties

• Life transitions and major changes

• Loss and significant life experiences

• Feeling stuck or uncertain about the future

• Personal identity and self-understanding

• Personal growth and self-development

• Emotional resilience

• Finding meaning and purpose

• Difficult experiences from the past

• Challenges associated with work, family, or everyday life

Every person's experience is different, so our work together will be shaped by your individual needs and circumstances.

Mindfulness Practices and Workshoop

Mindfulness can be incorporated into wellbeing support where appropriate and according to your individual preferences.

Mindfulness involves developing greater awareness of the present moment, including awareness of thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment.

With gentle guidance, mindfulness and relaxation practices may help you to:

  • Develop greater awareness of your thoughts and emotions

  • Recognise emotional and physical signs of stress

  • Become more grounded in the present moment

  • Create moments of calm within a busy lifestyle

  • Develop healthier ways of responding to difficult emotions

  • Improve self-awareness

  • Support emotional resilience

  • Develop greater self-compassion

  • Create a more balanced relationship with yourself

Practices may include breathing exercises, grounding techniques, mindful awareness, body awareness, relaxation exercises, and reflective practices.

These techniques are introduced gently and adapted to your individual circumstances.

Group Support Sessions

Group wellbeing sessions can foster a welcoming environment for learning, reflection, connection, and shared experiences.

Groups may be structured around specific wellbeing themes and may include discussion, reflective exercises, mindfulness practices, psychoeducation, and practical wellbeing activities.

Possible topics include:

  • Understanding emotional wellbeing

  • Stress management

  • Self-care

  • Building resilience

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Mindfulness and relaxation

  • Emotional awareness

  • Healthy boundaries

  • Personal development

  • Positive thinking and gratitude

  • Finding balance in everyday life

  • Personal values, meaning, and purpose

Group sessions can offer an opportunity to learn from different perspectives while developing practical tools you can incorporate into everyday life.

A Collaborative Approach

Whatever brings you to wellbeing support or counselling, I believe the relationship between practitioner and client is an important part of the process.

I will not tell you how to live your life or provide a set of answers. Instead, I will work alongside you, helping you explore your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

Your voice, choices, values, and experiences remain at the centre of our work.

My aim is to provide a space where you can:

  • Feel genuinely heard

  • Explore your experiences without judgement

  • Develop greater self-awareness

  • Recognise your strengths and resources

  • Understand your emotions

  • Explore personal values and needs

  • Develop practical coping strategies

  • Build confidence and resilience

  • Consider meaningful changes

  • Work towards greater balance and wellbeing

What Happens in a Session

Each session lasts 60 minutes and provides dedicated time and space for you to focus on yourself, your experiences, and what you need at that particular point in your life.

I understand that starting counselling can sometimes feel unfamiliar or difficult. You may know that something is not quite right but may not know exactly where to begin or how to explain what you are experiencing. You do not need to have everything worked out before your first session.

We can begin wherever you feel most comfortable.

Your First Session

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and establish a supportive, respectful foundation for our work together.

During our first 60-minute session, we will take time to explore:

  • What has brought you to counselling or wellbeing support

  • What you are currently experiencing

  • Your personal circumstances and life situation

  • The difficulties or challenges you would like to explore

  • How these experiences may be affecting your emotional wellbeing

  • What you would like to understand, change, or work towards

  • Your existing strengths, resources, and support

  • What you hope to gain from counselling

There is no expectation that you will have all the answers. The first session is not about rushing to find solutions. It is about listening, understanding your situation, and creating a clearer picture of what support may be most helpful for you.

Creating Your Personalised Wellbeing Plan

Following our initial discussion, we can identify the areas you would like to focus on and develop a personalised wellbeing plan tailored to your needs, circumstances, and goals.

The plan is collaborative and flexible. It is not a rigid programme and can be reviewed and adapted as your circumstances, needs, and priorities change.

You remain at the centre of the process. Your goals, preferences, values, and readiness guide the direction of our work.

There is no single path to wellbeing, and your journey will be unique to you.

Sometimes wellbeing begins with making sense of what you are experiencing. Sometimes it begins with learning to be kinder to yourself. At other times, it may involve setting boundaries, developing healthier routines, reconnecting with your values, or finding a renewed sense of purpose.

Whatever your starting point, you do not need to have everything worked out before seeking support.

My role is to walk alongside you, offering a safe and supportive space where you can pause, reflect, understand, and grow.
